Try for freeThis month’s WorkTrek update brings improvements to authentication, asset management, form permissions, and multi-asset work orders and preventive maintenance creation. From new single sign-on options to more flexible asset templates, these enhancements help organizations streamline their workflows and manage maintenance operations more efficiently.
1. Microsoft Entra SSO & Google Account Integration
WorkTrek now supports single sign-on (SSO) with Microsoft Entra ID and Google Accounts, making it easier for users to access the platform using their existing corporate or Google credentials.
To support these integrations, we’ve upgraded our identity provider infrastructure to Keycloak, providing a more flexible and centralized approach to authentication and identity management. These authentication options are available with the WorkTrek Enterprise plan, helping organizations integrate WorkTrek into their existing identity and access management environment

2. Asset Templates – Simplify Asset Creation and Management
Managing similar assets is now easier with Asset Templates. You can create new assets from predefined templates, reducing repetitive data entry and ensuring consistency across your asset register.
Templates can store not only asset metadata but also images and documents. When an asset is linked to a template, the associated information and files can be displayed on that asset.
You can also update asset metadata through the template, making it easier to maintain consistent information across related assets without updating each asset individually.

3. Role-Based Permissions for Form Items
WorkTrek now gives you more control over who can complete individual items within a form.
For each form item, you can specify which user role is allowed to enter or edit its value. Once a role is assigned, only users with that role and system administrators can fill in the item.
This improvement helps organizations define clearer responsibilities, prevent unauthorized changes, and ensure that the right people complete the right parts of a form.

4. Reuse Asset Selections for Multi-Asset Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance
Creating multi-asset work orders and preventive maintenance plans is now more convenient.
You can now select equipment from existing work orders and preventive maintenance plans, making it easier to reuse asset selections instead of manually selecting the same equipment again. This is particularly useful when managing recurring maintenance activities or creating work orders for groups of equipment that are already maintained together. It reduces repetitive work and helps keep maintenance planning consistent.
